Massive blast at fireworks unit in East Godavari district

Mandapadu: A massive blast has taken place at a fireworks manufacture unit in East Godavari district. This accident happened at Indra fireworks near Mandupadu at Samalkota Mandal here in the district.

In the incident, 12 persons were seriously injured, where two are said to be in a critical position. On receiving the information, the police rushed to the spot and shifted the victims to Kakinada government hospital. The firefighters are trying to put off the flames.
