Minor girl raped by three men in Tamil Nadu

In an incident, a 12-year-old girl was allegedly raped by three men in a village at Thiruppattur district of Tamil Nadu. Despite providing subsidy to construct bathrooms, most of the villagers prefer to attend nature call in the open lands.

In this context, a minor girl, who is studying in the sixth class went out of the house to attend nature call in the late evening. While on her way, she came across three men who were drinking liquor. As it was an isolated area, they started to follow the girl. Noticing them, the girl began to run, and they chased her.

They caught hold of her and threatened to kill with the broken bottle her if she made noise and took turns in raping her. Later, they again threatened to kill her if she discloses the matter with anyone and left from the place.

After reaching home, the frightened girl revealed the incident with her parents. Immediately, they approached the police station and lodged a complaint. Upon receiving the information, the police registered a case, took the three accused into their custody and sent them to remand.
