Two caught with Rs 1 crore cash at Delhi metro station

New Delhi: CISF police have arrested two persons who were carrying nearly Rs 1 crore cash at Delhi metro station on Thursday. The police officials who scanned the bags of the passengers at Jangpura metro station found the cash with accused Vikas Chauhan (30) of Rajasthan, and Arti (20), a native of MP.

Speaking on the occasion, CISF AIG Hemendra Singh said during the checks at the metro station, a bag with Rs 1 crore was found with the passengers. As they were no proper documentation related to the cash, the police took them into custody and later handed over to the IT department for further investigation.
