Two more girls end lives

Hyderabad: An Intermediate student committed suicide by setting herself ablaze at her house in Shabad after failing in Civics subject on Tuesday. The victim identified as S Jyothi. According to Shabad police, she was studying CEC second year in Vivekananda Junior College in Chevella.

After coming to know the result of the exam, shewent into depression and committed suicide by setting herself ablaze at her house at Thirumalapur. Parents with the help of relatives shifted her to Osmania General Hospital for emergency treatment but on the way she died with grievous burn injuries. Police registered a case and are investigating.

Meanwhile, a girl, who failed in Intermediate exams, has committed suicide at Naginenipally village of Bommalaramaram mandal of Yadadri-Bhongir district on Wednesday. According to sources, the girl, Mithi (19), third daughter of Akaram Ravindra Chary and Madhavi couple, appeared for senior Inter exams.

After the announcement of results, Mithi came to know that she failed in Zoology and Chemistry subjects. Ever since, she has become moody. Depressed over the failure, she hanged herself to a ceiling fan in one of the rooms of her house on Wednesday.
