Woman kills daughter, commits suicide after her husband jumped in front of metro train in Delhi

New Delhi: In the tragic incident, a woman has killed her 5-year-old daughter and committed suicide after the death of her husband who also committed suicide by jumping before the metro train in Delhi. This incident happened on Friday evening.

The deceased identified as Sriranjani and her 5-year-old daughter Jayashritha who resides at JP Pavallion in Noida Sector 128 of Uttar Pradesh. The family belongs to Chennai.

Her husband Bharat had died by jumping in front of metro rail at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium station. He was rushed to RML hospital where the doctors declared brought dead.

After identifying her husband's body at the hospital. Sriranjani hanged her daughter to the ceiling fan and later hanged herself in the apartment. On receiving the information, the police booked a case and investigating further.
