Nepal's COVID-19 tally spikes to 191

Kathmandu: Nepal on Tuesday recorded 57 new coronavirus cases, the highest rise in a single day so far, which took the country's Covid-19 tally to 191.

"Tests conducted on the samples of eight persons from Kapilvastu, nine from Rupandehi, 39 from Parsa and one from Bara at the National Public Health Laboratory in Kathmandu came out positive for Covid-19," the ministry said in a statement cited by the Kathmandu Post.

"The health condition of all the individuals is normal and they are under the supervision of medical personnel," it added.
