28 Confirmed cases of COVID -19 in INDIA, GoM to take place today, Health Minister Harsh Vardhan

Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said India has confirmed a total of 28 cases of coronavirus. Out of the total 28 COVID-19 cases in India, the minister said that one person was from Delhi, six of his relatives in Agra, 16 Italians and their Indian driver, one in Telangana and the three earlier cases in Kerala, breaking up those who tested positive for the virus.

To take stock of the situation, a meeting of the Group of Ministers will take place today at 3 pm.

Three cases have been recovered and restored to their homes in Kerala, the health minister said.

The minister said all the foreign tourists who come to India will have to undergo airport screening.

There will be four Indian scientists travelling to Iran to build a laboratory there, the minister said.

He also said 5.89,000 people have been screened at airports so far, more than 10 lakh screened at the border with Nepal and around 27,000 are currently under group supervision.
