Adopted daughter chops father's body parts for refusing her relation with a minor

A young girl along with her boyfriend brutally murdered her adoptive father for objecting her to marry her lover in Mumbai. Going by details, Bennett Rebello (59), who lives in Mumbai, adopted Riya (19) from Ghatkopar area two years. The father, however, noticed that Riya was in love with a minor, and told her daughter that her love affair with Minor was not good.

Riya, along with her boyfriend, killed her father at home on November 27 by making him breathless. Later the duo chopped of the body with a knife and packed them into two bags, and a suitcase and dropped them into the nearby Mithi river. The police, who taken this as a challenge, were able to locate a Facebook account on Bennett Rebel by launching an investigation based on a sweater in the suitcase. Neighbors replied that Bennett had not been seen for ten days, when police went to his home and inquired about the address on the visiting card. In the wake of the adoption of the young woman, the police have identified Riya.

The young girl confessed her crime. CP said that Riya's parents live in Gatkopar area. "We are saddened to learn why the parents adopted the girl. We are investigating whether it was a coincidence, or a pre planned murder," CP said.
