Amit Shah's statement on Kejriwal's invitation
New Delhi: On the invitation of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Home Minister Amit Shah said, 'Dear Kejriwal, in our meeting 3 days ago, MHA has decided to entrust the operation of 10,000-bed Covid Care Center in Radha Swami Beas, Delhi to ITBP.The work is in full swing and a large part of the facility will be operational by June 26.
I would also like to inform the people of Delhi that a 1000 bed fully developed hospital is being developed with 250 ICU beds for Covid patients. DRDO and Tata Trust are building the facility. Armed forces personnel will prepare it. This centre will be ready in the next 10 days.
Armed Forces personnel will take medical care of Covid patients kept in railway coaches in Delhi. As many as 8,000 additional beds have already been put in place to create a covid care centre as per requirement.
