Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia Dropped From Melania Trump's School Visit
Next week US First Lady Melania Trump might visit a Delhi government school. From February 24 Donald and wife Melania Trump will be on a two-day trip to the country. She may visit a school in Delhi to take a look at the state government's 'Happiness Curriculum' initiative, which has brought a very positive impact. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, may probably host the US First Lady during her excursion. The Trumps will be landing in Ahmedabad on February 24, and the US President will inaugurate a cricket stadium built as the largest in the world. They might also visit Agra to see one of the seven wonders, Taj Mahal.
But as per Delhi government sources, names of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia have been dropped from the school event which is to be attended by Melania Trump on February 25, Tuesday. The AAP alleged that the BJP-led centre planned to drop them from the VVIP event.
BJP leader Sambit Patra responded to this saying: "There shouldn't be low-level politics on some issues. India comes under disrepute if we start pulling each other's legs. The Indian government doesn't influence the US, as to whom they invite or not."
