Buy Liquor online in Tamilnadu. All you need to know about TASMAC Online App

The Madras High Court on Friday ordered the closure of all TASMAC, state-run liquor shops and only permitted online sale of liquor.

The order came after numerous complaints filed about ignoring social distancing while on queue outside liquor shops in the state.

The court said online sale of liquor will be allowed only till May 17.

Tamil Nadu made 172.59 crore in a single day from liquor sale.

What is the TASMAC online app?

Tamilnadu govt. rolled out TASMAC online app to stop overcrowding at liquor shop. The app was launched on 7th May 2020.

How to buy liquor from TASMAC Mobile App?

1. You can place orders from TASMAC Mobile App or from the tasmac.co.in website

2. Register by providing Name, Gender, DOB, Mobile number, Delivery Addrss and email id

3. It asks for a secret code that comes to your email id and confirm it

4. TASMAC also asks for Aadhaar number and other information. You can skip this though

5. Add the items to the card and go to Add money section.

6. Payment can be made through Fast Pay option

7. You will receive QR Code. The data will be registered on TASMAC delivery staff mobile phone.

8. By scanning the QR code, delivery of items ordered will be completed
