Congress Conceded Land To China: BJP Hits Back
Amit Malviya, IT head of the BJP hit back at former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi with regard to Dr. Singh's statement on the Galwan Valley clash. Rahul Gandhi took to Twitter posting Dr Singh's statement and referring to it as advice for the government.
Amit Malviya of the BJP responded pointing out that it was under successive Congress regimes that India had conceded land to China. He also ridiculed the idea of Rahul Gandhi terming Dr Singh's statement as advice to the Modi government considering the Wayanad MP had publicly torn an ordinance issued by Dr Singh's government. The BJP spokesperson referred to Dr Singh and Rahul Gandhi's statement as being facetious.
Take Dr Manmohan Singh's advice, whose Ordinance Rahul Gandhi had torn off in public, while he was still India's PM? Rich.

Dr MMS and Rahul are being facetious here knowing fully well that it was under successive Congress regimes that India conceded large tracts of land to China. https://t.co/j5RCBc3dNN
The sniping between Congress and the ruling BJP resumed on Monday with former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh attacking the Narendra Modi government on the Galwan Valley clash in Eastern Ladakh between Indian and Chinese troops on June 15 in which 20 Indian soldiers including the Commanding Officer Col Santhosh Babu were martyred.
Dr Singh, in a dig at the Centre, observed that disinformation is no substitute for diplomacy. The former Prime Minister called on the Centre not to let the sacrifices of Indian soldiers including Col. Santosh Babu go in vain.
Dr Manmohan Singh cautioned PM Modi against allowing the Chinese to misinterpret his words. He said that the Prime Minister must always be mindful of the implications of his words and declarations on the national security as also strategic and territorial interests.
