New Delhi: In view of the increasing impact of Coronavirus in India, all agencies including health has increased activity at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport.

Suspected travelers coming from abroad are being closely investigated. They are being let out if found right at the screening.

At the same time, after being found victims of infection, those passengers are being sent directly to the respective hospitals from the airport for treatment.

Since January 17, so far 1.65 domestic and foreign travelers have been screened at IGI. Of these, 24 suspects have been sent to hospitals for treatment.

Every day about two lakh passengers travel by air from IGI Airport. So far, 1.65 lakh passengers have been screened at the airport since January 17.

The number of passengers screened from March 3 to March 5 is 75 thousand. Of these, 24 symptoms of the corona virus were found. He was sent to different hospitals for treatment.

In view of the rising outbreak of Coronavirus, three special counters have also been set up at the airport on Tuesday to check passengers.

To avoid the effects of the virus, CISF personnel, including the airlines and other personnel working at the airport, are keeping a lot of vigilance.

Instructions have been issued to all to keep masks at all times. At the same time, his health is also being checked regularly.
