Door to door survey starts in Delhi, team will reach every house by 6 July
New Delhi: Investigation has been started from house to house to find out the cases of corona in Delhi. On Thursday, health workers are conducting a door-to-door survey of people of the old Chandrawal area of Majnu Ka Tila area to check for symptoms of COVID-19. These teams include a nurse and an ASHA worker.
SDM of Civil Lines Pradeep Tayal said that 5 teams have been formed for this area. Our main objective is to identify people over 60 years old, symptomatic and comorbid.
According to the information, the Delhi government has made a lot of changes in its Covid-19 scheme, which includes completing door-to-door investigations by July 6, getting the infected person from the more densely populated area admitted to the care centre, in the Containment Zone With the help of CCTV and drones, monitoring the movement of people, etc.
One of the eight points of this revised scheme is that if a very suspicious person's Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) report is negative, it should be confirmed by a Gold Standard RT-PCR test.
To prevent the spread of Coronavirus infection in the capital Delhi, the High-Level Committee constituted by the Union Home Minister Amit Shah in its report on Sunday suggested that all people exposed to corona patients in Delhi be kept in isolation, delimiting all the containment zones to be done.
According to the revised plan, corona patients or cluster cases from extremely densely populated areas will be referred to the COVID Care Center under the guidelines of the Ministry of Health. With this, the limit of the Containment Zone will be fixed by 26 June.
According to the revised plan, the door-to-door investigation will be done by June 30 in the Containment Zone, while the rest will be completed by July 06 in Delhi. Right now, Delhi has 266 Containment Zones.
