Farmers postponed the Tractor March called on Wednesday, due to the bad weather
New Delhi: Despite the fierce winter, rain, farmers have been threatening to intensify their protest against the three new agricultural laws of the Center, which have been on the borders of Delhi for the last 40 days.
However, in view of the forecast of bad weather, they postponed the 'tractor march' called on Wednesday. The seventh round of talks between the government and farmer organizations on Monday was also inconclusive.
Representatives of peasant organizations remained adamant on their demand to repeal these laws altogether while the government wanted to discuss the "flaws" of the laws or their other options. The next conversation between the two will now take place on January 8.
Meanwhile, the outbreak of severe cold continues in the national capital, here it rained and hail fell on Wednesday morning. It has been raining intermittently in Delhi for four days.
