Five Migrant Workers Killed, 24 Injured In Madhya Pradesh Road Accident
Sagar, Madhya Pradesh: Five migrant workers were killed, and 24 others injured when the truck in which they were travelling overturned in Banda of Sagar district in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday. The migrants were travelling from Maharashtra to their hometowns in Uttar Pradesh and were passing through Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh when the accident took place on Saturday.

The Banda mishap comes close on the heels of a collision between two trucks in which 24 migrants were killed and several others injured in Auraiya of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday morning. Prime Minister Narendra and several other leaders expressed their shock at the accident and conveyed their condolences to the bereaved family.
On Thursday, six migrants were mowed down by a bus near Muzaffarnagar in UP while they were walking to their hometowns in Bihar. Eight migrant workers were killed and more than 40 injured when the truck in which they were travelling collided with a bus in the wee hours of Thursday in Guna district of Madhya Pradesh.
Earlier in the week, 15 migrant workers were mowed down by a goods train near Jalna in Aurangabad of Maharashtra while they were sleeping on railway tracks.
