Haryana: Congress attacks BJP regarding post assembly poll results
NEW DELHI: In Haryana, Jan Nayak Janata Party (JJP) of Dushyant Chautal keeps delaying and the hopes of Congress to form the government rises. However, the party has blamed the BJP for trying to influence JJP.
Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala, said that JJP is playing into the hands of BJP.
Sushmita Dev, the leader of the Women's Congress has written a letter addressing Amit Shah questioning the 'Beti Bachao' campaign of BJP.
Surjewala attacked BJP regarding the delay in clearing JP's stand on the offer made by Congress of forming a coalition government in Haryana.
Randeep Surjewala said, "Call for government formation has to be taken by the political party. Doesn't it show how BJP is pulling the strings even vis-a-vis other political parties? I think it's for the people of Haryana to decide."
He said that the BJP has no moral right to form the government. "'Aya Ram Gaya Ram' politics is being played out with allurements of money and minister posts to opposition MLAs."
Surjewala also alleged that, "how money and muscle power was used to defeat opposition candidates".
"Look at the statements made by Narendra Modi and Amit Shah at the time Gopal Kanda was a minister in the Hooda-led government. We forced him to resign and removed from ministership," Surjewala said.
