Heartwarming: Cop Runs After Moving Train To Deliver Milk To Starving Child, Wins Hearts
Shafia Hashmi hails from Bahraich in Uttar Pradesh. The woman has a 3-month-old child. She was one of the passengers on the Shramik Special train travelling from Karnataka to Lucknow. She was accompanied by her child Saiyada. Because of the situation prevailing, thanks to coronavirus Shafia had stocked up enough to last her 1000-km long journey. However, she ran out of milk for her daughter and was looking to buy a fresh pack for the child. Despite asking everywhere around, Shafia couldn't find it at any of the stations. However, on reaching the Bhopal station she spotted RPF constable Inder Singh Yadav. She requested if he could get milk for her child. However, the train started moving before he could fetch the milk.
Realizing how much the child would suffer, Yadav ran behind the running train to hand over the milk packet to Shafia. The heart moving scene was recorded on the CCTV at the Bhopal station. Remembering the kind gesture of the good samaritan cop, Shafia says she could never forget the scene of the RPF constable running after the train with a rifle in one hand and a pack of milk on the other.
Hashmi even called Yadav to thank him profusely for his act of kindness while Railway Minister Piyush Goyal too hailed Yadav's exemplary sense of duty.
This incident has gone viral and the RPF constable at Bhopal Inder Singh Yadav has received a thunderous round of applause on social media. The incident just goes on to show there are some unsung heroes whose hearts beat for humanity.
