J & K: NIA Conducts Raids In Baramulla
Srinagar: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted a raid at the house of Ghulam Mohd. Mir in Pattan, Baramulla of Kashmir, on Saturday.

The individual arrested during the raid is reported to be the son of a former employee of Military Engineering Service (MES) and is being questioned.
The NIA is said to have raided the house of Mir accompanied by CRPF and J & K Police. The individual is reported to be involved in a case of terror-funding and the NIA is said to be tracing the trail. The NIA is also said to be conducting a raid at another area in Pattan of Baramulla in the Kashmir valley.
After the abrogation of Article 370 and the creation of the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, government sources say that the number of terrorist incidents has seen a sharp decline. Infiltration levels are also said to have come down.
Security agencies have in recent months, eliminated a number of terrorists and have been keeping a tight vigil on cross-border terrorists as well as any possible sleeper cells.
