Journalist filmed at a posh lingerie store in Delhi
New Delhi: Delhi-based journalist was filmed at a posh lingerie store in South Delhi's Greater Kailash M-block market while the shopkeeper was allegedly watching footage from the hidden camera live.
While an FIR has been lodged in the case, police is yet to make any arrests and the accused shopkeeper continues to run free.
While the incident took place on August 31, an FIR was registered 3 days after the incident at the Greater Kailash police station under IPC Section 354 C (voyeurism).
But so far no action has been taken against the accused shopkeeper. The FIR copy is in possession of Mail Today.
Police did not rule out the possibilities of shopkeeper having footage of several other women in his database from the hidden camera. Further investigation in the incident is on.
"After selecting the garments, I asked a female staffer to direct me to the trial room. On her directions, I went to a room and tried all the garments.
Ten minutes later, the same woman came inside and asked me to go to another room as the room in which she was changing has a CCTV camera," she said.
