Maharastra state cabinet minister Aslam Shaikh resulted Covid-19 positive
Maharastra: State cabinet minister and Congress leader Aslam Shaikh tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday. The minister announced the same on Twitter in the morning. He is asymptomatic and has isolated himself.
He said on twitter that, "This is to inform that I have tested positive for Covid-19. I'm currently asymptomatic and isolating myself. I request all those who have come in close contact with me to get themselves tested. I will continue to work from home to serve the people of my state."

It may be noted that Maharashtra is the worst-affected state due to Corona virus outbreak in India. It has currently over 1.29 lakh active cases. The death toll in the state currently stands at over 11,800.
However, there has been a dip in the number of daily cases in Mumbai. Even then, there are over 20,000 active cases in the city. Over 5,700 people succumbed after contracting the infection in Mumbai.
