Man ties mangalsutra to a woman on moving bus in TN, arrested

Chennai: In an incident, a man was thrashed by the passengers who forcibly tied mangalsutra to a young woman while travelling on a bus.

Going into details, Jagan (25) of Sanrorkuppam village near Ambur has boarded an RTC bus moving towards Vaniyambadi in Tirupattur. On the same bus, a woman who belongs to Ambur was also travelling on Tuesday.

As the bus was moving, he tied mangalsutra around the neck of the woman. On hearing her screamings, the passengers rushed for her rescue and thrashed him and later handed over to the police.

It's reported that Jagan was in a one-sided love affair with a 21-year-old woman for the last five years. The woman rejected his proposal several times. Last week, she got engaged to another man. Over knowing about it, Jagan forcibly tied mangalsutra to the woman. On the incident, the police registered a case against him and investigating further.
