M.K Stalin terms government led by Edappadi anti-people

KARUR: On Wednesday, M.K. Stalin the DMK president had urged the voters of four Assembly constituencies, to vote out the AIADMK government, where bypolls are due until May 19.

"The government led by Edappadi K. Palaniswami is anti-people. The Chief Minister is not bothered about the people and their welfare. He has to be sent back home, along with the BJP government at the Centre. The voters have to consider the May 19 vote as a crucial opportunity to end the AIADMK regime in the State," Mr. Stalin said.

Mr. Stalin described Mr. Palaniswami, as 'useless' and as a 'slave' of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and he had done nothing towards the development of the State. He managed to stay in power, with the support of Mr. Modi. The AIADMK government should no longer be allowed to continue in office, he said.

The DMK president said that, it was certain for the people to have voted against the BJP government in the State and in other parts of the country. He claimed that, there is gonna be a change of guard at the Centre.

Mr. Stalin questioned the Deputy CM O. Panneerselvam for not appearing before the Justice Arumugasamy (Retd.) the Commission which is probing the death of former CM Jayalalithaa, he said that, Mr. Panneerselvam demanded to set up the Commission. But he had ignored the summons which have been served on him on various occasions.
