MP Mimi Chakraborty fangirls over Sourav Ganguly

self-confessedBengali actress-turned-politician Mimi Chakraborty took to Instagram and shared a picture of herself posing with former cricketer Sourav Ganguly, lovingly known as 'dada'. The newly-elected MP from Jadavpur gave her fans a sneak peek into her personal life through the picture with the 'Prince of Kolkata'. She is seen clearly excited on meeting the cricketer.

She captioned the post: "Sourav Ganguly doesn't matter how many times I meet you, fan forever!" Previously, the actress-turned-politician took to Facebook on Ganguly's 47th birthday to send her wishes. She shared a picture of both of them and wrote: "Happy Birthday Dada, a true inspiration!"

Sourav Ganguly - a former cricketer, and now BCCI president has loyal fans who lovingly call him 'dada' even years after his retirement. The spirited cricketer lead the Indian cricket team with great leadership skills and is often known as the greatest captains in the world of cricket. Ganguly established himself as one of the world's leading batsmen as well as a captain during his stint.

Mimi Chakraborty was is known for her work in Bengali cinema and television. She was listed as the most desirable woman in the Calcutta Times list of Most Desirable Women 2016. The actress came into the limelight after winning the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections from Jadavpur seat in West Bengal from Trinamool Congress party. She was previously trolled for wearing a jeans and taking selfies in front of the parliament when she had visited it for the first time after winning the elections. The actress condemned the trolls and said anybody would be excited to visit the parliament, and same was the case with her.
