Phew! Tragedy averted, SpiceJet Flight makes an emergency landing

JAIPUR: The SpiceJet Flight, SG 58, which took off from Dubai, made an emergency landing after tyre burst.

The flight landed safely. Nobody was injured in the incident and all 198 passengers were safely disembarked at the Jaipur International Airport.

It all happened at around 9:00 in the morning.

"While aircraft was descending at Jaipur, Pilots were informed by Jaipur ATC of suspected tyre burst in Dubai. The crew followed their procedures and landed safely in Jaipur," a SpiceJet spokesperson said.

A team of engineers are examining the aircraft.

Last year also a similar incident took place. A SpiceJet aircraft with over 200 people on board made an emergency landing at the Chennai airport after one of its tyres burst during take-off.
