Protest demanding cancellation of elevated corridor project

BENGALURU: On Saturday morning, several members belonging to citizen groups, cyclist groups, students, senior citizens etc., had flocked near Gandhi Statue on Race Course Road, to register their unified voice by demanding cancellation of the elevated corridor project.

The demands were shouted through slogans by the citizen groups, which asked the state government to provide Bengaluru with better bus transport, better footpaths, augment metro connectivity before talking about the elevated corridor project.

The protest was also supported by the families with kids, who had come from different parts of the city.
