Why is he hiding?
Enough is enough. We need to know what has happened.
How dare China kill our soldiers?
How dare they take our land?
Rahul Gandhi posted a tweet questioning Prime Minister Modi's silence and the reason why he is hiding. The Congress leader added "enough is enough. We need to know what has happened." Rahul Gandhi further said, "how dare China kill our soldiers? How dare they take our land?"
The Congress leader had on Tuesday tweeted to express his condolences to the officers and soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country on the LAC.
In recent weeks, Rahul Gandhi has been attacking Prime Minister Modi for his silence over the tensions with China on the LAC in Eastern Ladakh. On June 9, Rahul Gandhi lashed out at Defence Minister Rajnath Singh saying that "once he is done commenting on the hand symbol" could he (Singh) answer whether "the Chinese have occupied Indian territory in Ladakh?"
A day earlier, the Wayanad MP posted a tweet stating that "the media is muscled and terrified and that truth seems dormant."
Rahul Gandhi had also tweeted on June 5 citing an article and added that "denial won't help us." The Congress leader also asked the Centre to confirm that no Chinese soldiers had entered India in a tweet on June 3, citing a news report stating that lieutenant generals would talk to break the LAC deadlock with China.
