Sonam Wangchuk, the man who inspired the character Rancho or Phunsukh Wangdu in Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots movie has got a message to the people. He asked the people to boycott TikTok and everything that made in China -- be it a phone or apps.

In his recent video that was released on YouTube titled, China KoJawaab Sena Degi Bullet Se, Naagrik Dengey Wallet Se, Wangchuk made the people remember the responsibilities of Indian citizens. Sitting in Ladakh having Himalayas and river Sindhu in the backdrop, Wangchuk talked about the tensions at the India-China border.

He went on to say that the Indians use Chinese apps and goods helping the country to make crores worth business, in turn, helping it out to enhance its military capacity against India. "China earns around Rs 5 lakh crore from its businesses in India every year and the country is using it to kill out soldiers at the borders," he said.

Wangchuk asked the Indian citizens to use wallet power against the Chinese bullet power to stop its bullying in Ladakh and liberate 1.4 billion bonded labourers in China. "It's just not soldiers to be responding to China but also the citizens," he said adding that the power of wallet should play an important role than bullet power. He said that youngsters in India should boycott everything made in China in a week which helps the country become self-reliant.

The engineer turned farmer as his Twitter bio reads also said that he will be discarding his phone within a week.

It may be recalled that tensions between India and China erupted on May 5 when around 200 army personnel from India and China clashed along the northern bank of the Pangong Lake in eastern Ladakh.
