State funeral for Sushma Swaraj today
Delhi: BJP President JP Nadda has said that the former External Affairs Minister would be cremated with state honours today. He said that her body would be kept at the BJP headquarters for three hours this afternoon for party workers, leaders and people to pay tributes.
Sushma Swaraj's body will be kept at the BJP office from noon to 3.00 pm. The body will be taken to the Lodhi Road crematorium for the last rites after 3.00 pm.
People from all corners and party leaders from all party lines expressed their condolences on the demise of Sushma Swaraj. She died of cardiac arrest at 9.30 pm on Tuesday. She was 67.
Top BJP leaders, including Rajnath Singh, Nirmala Sitaraman and Ravi Shankar Prasad, visited the hospital last night.
