Viral Video of An Elephant Who Chases Locals Away While They Try to Rescue Its Calf Stuck between Boulders

In Morigaon district of Assam, a recent incident of an elephant has gone viral. In the clip one can see that calf ofthe mother Elephant had got stuck between two huge rock boulders. Local of the district along with the forest officials had to rush for rescue operations to save the Elephant.

However, in last the rescue operation has turned out very complicated and dangerous as well.

When the local and rescuers of forest had come together to save the younger elephant. But, the mother elephant, who was roaming nearby to her calf, chased the locals away, to stop them from going close to her younger baby.

However, even after this behaviour of the elephant mother the rescuers and locals did not give up and continued their toil to save the young elephant and finally got success.

The video was shared by ANI, and according to them the rescuers used ropes so that they can pull the elephant calf which was stuck between the two boulders.

The video clip is short and it is about of 1-minute-35-second in which one can see the rescuers coming together and by using so many ropes they are trying to save the elephant calf.

The calf can be seen so scared and also making efforts by moving itself vigorously to come out while rescuers trying to save him.

One rescuer also suffered with some minor injuries while rescuing the elephant calf.

The video got viral as soon as uploaded. It has approx. 10,000 viewers. Many users commented to appreciate the efforts of rescuers.
