Andhra Pradesh Council of Science and Technology (APCOST) Regional Officer JD Dilleswara Rao has exhorted students to use their creative instincts and invent new things for the benefit of the society. Speaking at the National Science Day celebrations organised by students of Kakaraparti Bhavanarayana (KBN) College on Friday, Rao emphasised the need to conduct science exhibitions in educational institutions on a regular basis to unearth the creativity and hidden talent of students.
“APCOST was committed to encouraging budding science talent to invent new things,” he said. The students organised a science exhibition to mark the occasion, where models on different science topics were displayed. Rao, who went round the exhibition, appreciated the creativity of students.
Potti Sriramulu Chalavadi Mallikharjuna Rao (PSCMR) College of Engineering and Technology Electronics Department head Ranga Rao, KBN College president U Sambasiva Rao, principal P Krishna Murthy, vice- principal V Narayana Rao, Zoology Department head V Subhashini and other faculty members were present.
