V T High School organises competition on Nuclear energy

A quiz competition on ‘Nuclear energy’ was organised in Vijayawada’s V T high school to generate awareness about the importance of energy and to dispel the misconceptions related to it. With about 157 participants the prizes were bagged by Pradeep from class six and Ramaya from eight.

On the occasion principal Sri Devi said that children had portrayed the importance of energy in a very creative manner and had showed how the production of electricity from nuclear energy did not cause much harm to the environment.

On this occasion, informative material that aims at creating awareness about nuclear energy was distributed among the winning children, teachers and principal of the school.
