Calling all nerds and geeks! Comic Con India (CCI) is back with its fourth edition of Alto Hyderabad Comic Con (HCC), which will take place at Hitex Exhibition Centre from September 24-25.

Calling all nerds and geeks! Comic Con India (CCI) is back with its fourth edition of Alto Hyderabad Comic Con (HCC), which will take place at Hitex Exhibition Centre from September 24-25. Announcing the event, Jatin Varma, Founder, Comic Con India, shared, “I am extremely excited to kick off the fourth edition of Alto Hyderabad Comic Con. We are coming back bigger and better as promised with an awesome line up for guests, exhibitors and fan experiences. We hope to make it the best weekend of the year, yet again for the thousands of fans in the city.”
Panel attractions
Bringing forth the “Artist Alley”, the HCC will provide fans a chance interact with local and national artistes, illustrators and designers for comics and related fields. The alley will feature artistes like Saumin Suresh Patel, Abhijeet Kini, Reshmi Chandrashekhar, Nikita Das Gupta, Leena Swamy, Rohit Soni, Garima Shukla, Ayan Nag, Venkata P, Rajeev Tamhankar, Milanpreet, Vinay Brahmania, Madhuvanthi Mohan and Mayank Kumar. Well known creators like Vivek Goel from Holy Cow Entertainment, Aniruddho Chakraborty from Chariot comics, Shamik Dasgupta from Yali Dreams and Prasad Bhat from Graphicurry will be at the show as well.
Special guests include international actress Afshan Azad; Dan Parent, American comic book artiste and writer best known for Archie Comics; David Lloyd, British comics artiste best known for V for Vendetta and Nicole Marie Jean, International Pro-Cosplayer. As a treat for tech and gaming enthusiasts there will be ‘Experiential and Gaming Zones’ like Alto K10 Area, Nodwin Gaming Zone and The Table Top Gaming Arena.
The event will feature a first-of-its-kind WWE Zone, which will have a grand stage complete with a huge LED wall that will allow fans to select their favorite WWE Superstar’s entrance music, as they make their way down the specially created ramp. Cosplay (Costume Contest), one of the major attractions at CCI, will continue to give assured prizes. One lucky winner will get a chance to win Rs 50,000 each day.
The main participants include Viz Media, Random House India, HarperCollins Publishers India, Campfire Graphic Novels, Holy Cow Entertainment, Yali Dream Creations, ICBM Comics, Sirji Comics, Red Streak Publications, Thought Bubble Studio and Dreamblooms Media. Tickets are available on HCC website as well as at the venue and priced at Rs 350 per day and Rs 550 for the Super Fan VIP Ticket, which allows entry on both the days.
