Vaishnava temples offer the Uttara Dwara Darshanam to devotees

Thousands of pilgrims participated in the Vaikuntha Ekadasi celebrations at the all Vishnava Temples from 3am onwards in the Vijayawada city on Sunday. Most of the devotees worshiped the lord Venkateswara Swamy in the Vijayawada city on the occasion of the Vaikuntha Ekadasi.

Chairman of the Venkateshwara Swamy temple Maganti Subrahmanyam said that temple management has conducted the Sri Maha Vishnu Abhishekam for starting the Vaikuntha Ekadasi celebrations later temple management has provided the Uttara Dwara Darshanam to the all Venkateswara Swamy pilgrims in the temple from 3am onwards.

He said that temple management has conducted the Veda Pandita Saba at 7.30am and Vishnu Bajana Sankirthana at temple premises at 10am to 12pm. “Temple authority has conducted the Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanam with the support of huge pilgrims in the temple from 6pm to 8pm.

Police department has arranged elaborate security in the temple premises for controlling devotes rush and avoiding stampede situations on the occasion of the Vaikuntha Ekadasi celebrations, temple board has provided the laddu Prasadam and water packets to the devotees in the queue lines from 3am onwards in the temple” he added.

He said that Venkateshwara Swamy temple management had been celebrating the Vaikuntha Ekadasi celebrations from 54 years onwards in the temple.
