The convocation ceremony of St Teresa’s autonomous women’s college was held in the college premises here on Thursday. The College was affiliated to Adikavi Nannayya University (AKNU) and as an affiliated autonomous college, it has conducted its second convocation ceremony.

AKNU Dean (Academic Affairs) Prof. Teki participated as the Chief Guest. Retired Principal of Loyola Academy Fr Dhana Paul SJ attended as the guest of honour.
The Dean of AKNU Prof Teki appreciated the students who get their graduation certificates. Father Dhana Paul has suggested for the students to turn every situation into an opportunity. College Principal Dr Mercy submitted the College annual report.
About 600 students have received the Certificates from the Chief Guest and Guest of honour. College Controller of Examinations Sr Svanilea, Additional Control of Exams Rajyalakshmi supervised the programme.
College Correspondent and Superior mother Ernestine, Sr PG courses directress Marietta Demello, Vice Principal Sr Showreelu, Inter Campus Vice Principal Sr Suseela and lecturers participated in the ceremony along with the students.
Eight students won the Gold medals and five students received silver medals. K Vani Bhargavi (BCom), K Shiny (BA), K Mahathi (M.P.Comp), Divya Sri (BSc), Bhargavi (HSC), S Divya Rani (BA), K Harika BSC MPC) and M Divya Sri (BSC) won the gold medals. P Lavanya (Bcom) Sr Mary Sanjukhta (BA), K Harika (BSC Comp), R Hemalatha (BSC MBN) and Baby G (BSc HSC) received silver medals.
