The Mechanical Engineering students of SRKR Engineering College, Bhimavaram conducted Exhibition called ‘Pragna’ at Zilla Parishad High School in China Amiram village in Bhimavaram rural mandal, to create interest in Science and Engineering researchs among the school level students on Monday.

The third year Engineering student K Murali displayed ‘Smart City’ exhibits in the exhibition that attracted high school students. The Student said that Smart Cities should give priority to environment and drainage system and clean roads. Vindhya, Sriram of Mechanical Engineering third year displayed the Robo firebreak which explains how to extinguish a fire with chemical water through Robots. The students stated that this will give good results without any casualties.

Dharani, Poornima and Deepika prepared the Echo Cooler displayed in the exhibition. They prepared the cooler with water bottles and single fan without any water.
Another Student Kavya prepared water hover that travels in less water as well. It was displayed with the use of water bottles.

Third year students Revanth, Vamsi, V Vamsi displayed the exhibit of Power production while lifting water. This will be useful in forest area and Desert where water facility is not available. While lifting water, the power production will start with a gravity system. He showed the system by supplying power to the bulb.
The School Head Master M John Babu said that these exhibits created interest among the school children. The Mechanical Engineering Department Head K Brahmaraju said that his students are displaying these exhibits in two High Schools in an academic year.
