Govt to fill 40,000 vacancies in Finance Dept
Kakinada: Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu has said as part of the financial reforms, offices for the financial department and 66 sub-treasury offices are being constructed at a cost of Rs 80 crore in all the district headquarters in the state.
He laid the foundation stone for the proposed cluster building for the financial department which would be constructed at a cost of Rs 10 crore.
Speaking on this occasion, Yanamala informed that the move would bring all the financial-related government departments under one roof. He further said that the transactions would be easier upon its completion.
He informed that the Kakinada cluster building houses the district treasury, audit, APGLI (AP Government Life Insurance), Assistant PAO (Pay and Accounts Office) offices.
He ordered the officials to complete the construction of the building within a year.
Yanamala further informed that there were 40,000 vacancies in the finance department offices in the state and necessary measures to fill the posts were being taken.
Yanamala further said that the salaries of all the employees, bills of the developmental and welfare schemes would be paid directly to the related person's accounts to avoid middlemen.
