‘Human resources play key role in development’
Bapatla: “Development of human resources is very important for the all-round development of the budding state of AP,” said D Chakrapani, Director General of AP Human Resources Development Institute. He addressed a meeting held at AP Human Resources Development Institute in Bapatla as part of the New Year Day celebrations on Monday.
He said that efforts were being made to extend training to the 22,000 drawing and disbursing officers in the State. He further stated that hundreds of government officers were being trained everyday at the headquarters and at Visakhapatnam, Srikalahasti and Polavaram regional centres. So far, 236 training programmes were claimed to be organised and 19,898 government officers were trained.
Former Arts College principal WAGK Murthy, Forum For Better Bapatla secretary P C Sai Babu and staff of the institute participated.
