‘Janmabhoomi - Maa Vuru’ inauguration by CM today

Ongole: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate the fifth round of ‘Janmabhoomi- Maa Vuru’ programme in Darsi on Tuesday.

According to the schedule, the Chief Minister will start from his residence in Undavalli through helicopter at 12 pm and reach Darsi by 12.40 pm. The CM is to visit the Janmabhoomi-Maa Vuru cultural programmes venue and visit Rangoli competitions and observe various rural village games from 12.50 pm to 1 pm. 

He will reach the AP Model School ground and visit thematic stalls between 1.10 pm and 1.30 pm, after which he will lay foundation stone and inaugurate various development works from 1.30 pm to 2 pm. He will participate in the Janmabhoomi Maa Vuru programme at the Model School ground from 2 pm to 4 pm and would leave for Amaravati at 5 pm.

As part of the development works, the Chief Minister will inaugurate bore wells of 190 beneficiaries selected under NTR Jalasiri Phase 2 and dug with funds from Nabard of Rs 7.6 crore. He will also inaugurate the roads laid with funding from 13th and 14th Planning Commission (Rs 7 crore). Sixteen works completed by R&B department with a budget of Rs 92.1 crore will be inaugurated following which he will also inaugurate the lift irrigation schemes at Gangannapalem, Makkinavari palem and Mundlamuru. The CM will also inaugurate the sports development center and Pallevanam at Darsi.

Minister for Forests, Environment, Science and Technology Siddha Raghavarao, District Collector V Vinay Chand and Joint Collector S Naga Lakshmi visited the AP Model School and reviewed the arrangements for the Chief Minister’s programme.
