International seminar on GST from tomorrow

Vijayawada: Kakaraparti Bhavanarayana College (KBN) principal, U Sambasiva Rao said the college would conduct a seminar on ‘GST Practice A Cross Country Experience’ for two days from January 5 in a press meet here on Wednesday. “This was the time to discuss on goods service tax (GST) when the government introduced the tax system in Indian economy,” said the official.

He said that sections of people in the country have been expressing concern over the tax system and GST. Professors from various international universities would explain the new tax system, adding that experts from various fields would also attend the seminar. 

The heads of various departments of the college, Dr Bezwada Ramaiah, Ch Srinivasa Reddy, GVRNA Sastry, Dr K Sivaprakash and some others were present at the event. They also released seminar poster.
