Janmabhoomi for political mileage, flays CPI
Guntur: Communist Party of India district secretary, Jangala Ajay Kumar criticised that the state government is conducting the Janmabhoomi- Maa Vuru programme for publicity and political mileage.
Addressing a press meet held in the CPI district office here on Wednesday, he said, “The petitioners who submitted their petitions in the last Janmabhoomi programme remained unresolved.” He reminded that the farmers of Palnadu region were facing lot of problems for not releasing water for the rabi season.
He said that the residents of several areas in the city face drinking water problems and added that the district administration was conducting a grievance day on every Monday at the Collectorate to receive grievances from the public. He questioned the logic behind conducting Janmabhoomi again.
