Prakasam Collector promotes Janmabhoomi
CS Puram: Prakasam District Collector V Vinay Chand has said that the Janmabhoomi Maa Vooru programme was bringing officials to the doorsteps of the public and asked public to not let go of the opportunity.
The Collector, MLC Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy, Kanigiri MLA Kadiri Baburao, Tenali MLA Alapati Rajendra Prasad, social welfare commissioner V Ramulu, ZP CEO Kailash Giriswar, Surpanch Bandaru Salamma and others participated in the Janmabhoomi Maa Vooru programme held at the Bus Stand Center in Chandrasekhara Puram on Wednesday.
Speaking at the meeting, Vinay Chand explained that the officers were addressing the issues submitted to the representatives as early as possible by entering the grievance in the database. He said that the Gramasabha was being conducted in 1028 panchayats and 400 municipal wards in the district. He said that they could register their grievances by dialing 1100 Praishkara Vedika, without coming to Ongole to attend the grievance cell on Mondays. He assured that the non-financial issues would be addressed immediately through the system.
The officials and public representatives distributed Rs 2.1 crore bank linkages to 45 DWCRA groups, handed over the keys to Raitu Radham tractors, blessed pregnant women in the Seemantham programme. They also interacted with the women in the stalls and appreciated the kolatam of the KGBV schoolchildren.
