Tadicherla villagers seek separate Panchayat

Dwaraka Tirumala: Hundreds of people including women took out a rally on Wednesday, demanding that the Government set up a separate Grama Panchayati of Tadicherla in Kamavarapukota mandal.

Tadicherla is a hamlet-village of Kamavarapukota Grama Panchayati in Kamavarapukota Mandal. The villagers have been demanding the Government to bifurcate Kamavarapukota Panchayati and establish a new Panchayati for Tadicherla since several years now.

The villagers led by Tadicherla Pratyeka Panchayati Sadhana Samiti took out the rally on the main road of Kamavarapukota. The youth took out motorbike rally while the women staged a dharna in Kamavarapukota for the cause. Later, they submitted a memorandum to the officials who participated in the Janmabhoomi meeting.
