VITW hosts Pongal Fest

Vijayawada: To mark Pongal festivities, various competitions for girl students were organised at the Vijaya Institute of Technology for Women, Enikepadu on Wednesday.

Competitions like Rangoli, Sports and Mehandi were organised at the event. Students showcased their creative talents in the Mehendi and Rangoli contests in aspects that highlighted the Indian tradition, heritage and culture. The college was filled with festive fervour and rangolis.

College chairman, B S Appa Rao congratulated the participants and advised to improve their skills in various areas which would upgrade their confidence levels and their potential. College secretary B S Krishna, principal Dr P Venkateswar, HoDs and staff were present at the event.
