No mini stadia in mandal HQs yet: SFI Secy

Mogallu: The Alluri Sitaramaraju Memorial Cricket Tournament continued on Thursday in Mogallu village of Palakoderu mandal. DYFI district president, Alluri Arun started the second-day play. SFI district secretary, Moka Sivaraju led the toss for the teams.

The official alleged that the Government did not encourage the rural sportspersons. “On one hand the government is announcing development of sports in the state, on the other hand did not allot sufficient funds.” He stated that the Government had failed to construct a mini stadium in every mandal headquarter.

Mogallu youth leaders Akula Anuruti, Dodda Satish, DYFI leaders K Kranti babu, Sambrani Satyanarayana, Vanka Sivaramakrishna, Vattikuti Manindra, P Rajubhai, Chitturi Lakshman Rao, Dodda Prasad, Thota Satish, Yarramsetty Suresh and others participated in the event.
