ALC staff all praise for ISRO success
Vijayawada: Students and lecturers of the physics department of Andhra Loyola College (ALC) congratulated Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) at a programme held on the college premises here on Friday, for successfully launching the country’s100th satellite, PSLV-C40.
Speaking on the occasion, physics lecturer Dr T Sri Kumar briefed upon various successful satellites launched by the organisation. He aspired that experiments on moon, Mars and sun should be successful, hoping for ISRO to be the number 1 launch station on the globe by 2020. He further said ISRO had made 130 crore Indians proud.
He said students should show interest in the fields of space research, astronomy and physics. “Astronomical field would have good demand in the days to come,” he predicted.
Physics HoD Sahaya Bhaskaran, physics lecturers and students were present at the event.
