Protect kidneys, advises doctor
Kakinada: “Kidneys should be protected carefully as they serve an important function in our body and constantly filter our blood,” said noted Doctor Kumar Yadav.
He participated in a health awareness conference at the Boat Club Walker’s Association Hall and informed that kidneys would take the brunt of diabetes and blood pressure. He further said that if the kidneys get fully damaged, then one has to depend solely on artificial filtration of blood. He said that one has to keep the blood pressure and diabetes under control.
He further advised that increase in cholesterol in the blood leads to problems and advised people over forties to check performance of kidneys at least once a year. Adabala Ratna Prasad, Dasari Sridhar, PV Raghava Rao, M Trimurthulu and others participated.
