APJAC protests delay of GOs

Kakinada: Seeking immediate implementation of the GO Nos 107 and 121 (Finance) pertaining to retirement, death gratuity and family pension to the deceased government employees appointed under CPS, members of the Andhra Pradesh Joint Action Committee of Employees, Workers and Retired Employees, Amaravati (APJAC) staged a dharna in front of Collectorate here on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, the APJAC district chairman, Pitani Trinadha Rao informed that the government orders were issued after many struggles by the JAC leaders. However, non-implementation of these GOs resulted in the APJAC members and the families of the deceased employees suffering.

Trinadha Rao further informed that they staged the dharna and raised slogans for the implementation of the government orders in response to the call of the State leaders.
Later, APJAC district chairman Trinadha Rao, other leaders and members submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Director of Treasuries.
