Sankranti festivities at Happy Sunday

Rajamahendravaram: Hundreds of people witnessed various programmes arranged in connection with Happy Sunday held at Pushkar Ghat here. Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation (RMC) conducted this Happy Sunday with a series of programmes in connection with the Sankranthi festival.

The programmes reflected our tradition and culture with Bhogi Mantalu, Gobbemmalu, Bommala Koluvu,  Bhogi Pallu, Gangireddula Aata, rangolies, dance progranmme narrating Sankranthi Sambaralu.

 All the programmes enthralled the audience at the ghat. The entire venue was well decorated and people thronged to the venue to witness the programmes from 6am.

RMC deputy commissioner MVD Phaniram, manager K Srinivas and others were present at the festivities.
