Students mark Radha Saptami with Surya Namaskaram

Vijayawada: Students of Vani High School performed Surya Namaskara on the occasion of Radha Saptami on the school premises here on Wednesday. The programme was organised by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad (HDPP). 

Speaking on the occasion, HDPP Vijayawada vice-president BV Bala Koteshwara Rao said, “As per Hindu dharma, Sun is the visible god. By performing Surya Namaskara early in the morning, the mind would be fresh and increase concentration.” All the students were given a demonstration of Surya Namaskaram.
